    Statusmatch.com, in cooperation with Lufthansa Miles & More, offers participants who hold a frequent flyer status in Alitalia's frequent flyer programme MilleMiglia an equivalent frequent flyer status in the Miles & More programme. Eligible members can apply here.


  • Which Miles & More frequent flyer status can I obtain through the promotion?

    Existing Alitalia MilleMiglia Ulisse members will receive Frequent Traveller status with Miles & More. Existing Alitalia MilleMiglia Freccia Alata and Alitalia MilleMiglia Freccia Alata Plus members will receive Senator status with Miles & More.   • How long is the status valid if my application for a status match is approved?

    If your application is approved, you will receive the corresponding frequent flyer status in the Miles & More programme within 10 business days, valid until 28.02.2023.


  • How much does the application cost?

    Nothing. Participation in the promotion is free of charge.


  • I hold elite status with an airline other than Alitalia - can I still participate in the promotion?

    No, only status members of the Alitalia MilleMiglia programme can apply.


  • When does the Lufthansa Miles & More status match promotion end?

    The promotion ends on 30 April 2022. Lufthansa Miles & More reserves the right to end the promotion even before this deadline, once a certain number of participants have been awarded frequent flyer status with Miles & More through the promotion.


  • What information do I need to participate in the status match promotion?

    To participate in the promotion, you need your Lufthansa Miles & More service card number, your Alitalia MilleMiglia card number as well a valid e-mail address at which we can reach you. During the registration process, we will also ask you for proof of your Alitalia MilleMiglia frequent flyer status (e.g. photo of your status card). If you are not yet a Miles & More member, you can register here.


  • I hold an elite status with a hotel programme - can I also participate in the promotion with this status?

    No. This status match promotion is only offered to elite status holders of the Alitalia MilleMiglia programme.


  • How long does it take until I receive my new Lufthansa Miles & More frequent flyer status through the promotion?

    You will be informed within three days after submitting the requested information, whether your status match has been approved. Once approved, it may take up to 10 business days until your frequent flyer status is upgraded in your Lufthansa Miles & More customer account. During Christmas and New Year's holidays, some delays in the upgrading process are possible.

    After your frequent flyer status has been upgraded, you will receive an e-mail from Lufthansa Miles & More, containing information on how to make the most of your frequent flyer status with Miles & More. Please download the Miles & More app to access your digital service card showing your elite status. Miles & More will not send out any physical service cards.
